Special Agent Christopher K. Stangl entered on duty with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 2003 and was assigned to the Oklahoma City FBI Office Cyber Squad upon graduation from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. In July 2006, SA Stangl was transferred to the New York FBI Office Criminal Cyber Squad, where SA Stangl is assigned full cadre of cases including investigations involving computer intrusions, intellectual property rights violations, Internet fraud, and extortion.

SA Stangl is currently a member of the FBI Regional Cyber Action Team (RCAT) and is a member of the New York FBI Office Evidence Response Team.
